Low Voltage Input LDO Voltage Regulator

With a dropout voltage of only 38mV @ 100mA, the XC6601 is an ideal solution for low voltage input regulation. As can be seen in the typical application circuit (refer to technical diagram or data sheet), by connecting the VIN pin of the XC6601 to the output of a step-down DC/DC converter such as Torex’s 3MHz switching XC9236, the XC6601 can be used to provide low, stable output voltages (down to 0.7V) from equally low inputs !
