The USB Power Control Switch is a high side power switches with four independently controlled channels for self powered and bus powered Universal Serial Bus (USB) applications. It protects individual ports and hub designs.

Block Diagram of Quad USB Power Control Switch Application
The block diagram for the USB control applications comprises of Low Dropout Voltage Regulators, a USB Controller and USB Power Control Switch. The LDO Regulator 1 operates the USB Power Control Switch and the LDO Regulator 2 regulates the supply to USB Controller. The USB Power Control Switch has four output pins that support the four independent downstream Ports. The output voltage depends on the power supply voltage, tolerances, PCB connector and traces resistances and switch resistance.
Conclusion
The power supply tolerance of the device generally provides a good compromise between the accuracy and the cost. Therefore, as the nominal power supply is increased, switch resistance also increases and results into lower cost switches.
The LDO Regulators that can be used in the above application are:
For LDO Regulator 1 - XB1085P501JR
For LDO Regulator 2 – XC6201P331MR
