The Global Positioning System (GPS) is the only fully functional Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). Utilizing a constellation of at least 24 Medium Earth Orbit satellites that transmit precise microwave signals, the system enables a GPS receiver to determine its location, speed, direction, and time as shown in the below diagram:

Power is distributed to the different electronic equipment of the GPS system from the Power Management block. Audio Codec provide the mono/stereo speaker driver and a complete microphone interface.
A LCD / Touch screen is interface with the Central Processing Unit. To control the LCD and Touch screen there is a Touch screen controller and LCD controller, which is controlled by the DSP / CPU. LCD / Touch screen is used for the display of the result.
The LNA (low Noise Amplifier) is a special type of electronic amplifier it is employed in GPS system for the amplification of weaker signal which is captured by the antenna.
XC221A is used to facilitate regenerative gain and oscillation. It provides high input impedance at the input terminals and low output impedance for the speaker which is shown in the block diagram.
